The bed was comfy and the room stayed spotless, but I could have used a few more pillows and a chair to sit in.

“Cozy, French Artistry charming stay.”

I loved the artwork at French Quarters where we stayed; it added a very nice, quaint touch. The shower head needed replacing, and we only had two towels in our room, so we had to ask for more; I used two myself when washing my hair. There was no ice maker, so we had to get ice from the main Inn. A pair in the room would have been nice to put your shoes on.

“Could have been worse, could have been significantly cleaner.”

I liked the location and thought the building itself (French Quarters) was beautiful, with a well‑done aesthetic and a lovely view of Madison IN. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we loved the trolley service they offered—excellent customer service. We stayed in a ground‑level room in the French Quarters section, and it smelled very musty, almost like a basement; the odor got better when we turned on the A/C, but we still found a live cockroach on the bathroom floor later that night, which made us feel really grossed out and made it hard to fall asleep.
