We checked in at 9 pm, exhausted, and were not informed that our room was on the third floor with no elevator; no assistance was offered for our luggage, even though we’re in our late 60s. We had booked a room with two queen beds, but one was broken. After calling the desk, we were moved to a different building on the first floor.

The property is stunning, but it comes with a very high price tag. The room was tiny for what we paid, the mattress foundation felt bouncy, and there weren’t enough chairs around the bonfire, which caused one family to ruin the whole evening.

The rooms were clean and fairly well kept, but the bathroom sink drain needed snaking and the TV remote was broken, though those were minor hiccups; otherwise everything was great.
