Seed Resort, located in Nembrala on Rote Island, offers thatch-roofed bungalows and an outdoor pool with sundecks. The resort features an on-site restaurant, free WiFi, and air-conditioned rooms with mosquito nets and semi-outdoor bathrooms. Guests can rent bikes and enjoy fishing, surfing, and snorkeling. Nearby Lekunik Airport is a 1.5-hour drive, with ferry and air access from Kupang.

The location was fantastic, and the rooms and bathrooms were of a very high standard—there was nothing more perfect for a holiday.

The rooms were gorgeous and got refreshed every day, and the view was stunning all day long. Nothing else stood out, except the fact that the ferry isn’t always running – we were practically stuck on Roti for almost a week. If you want peace of mind, you’ll have to fly instead.

The dining was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and the location and views were sensational. Just remember that the ferry from Rote to Kupang is highly unreliable and often cancelled because of wind, so book flexible return flights and expect to stay longer than planned.

The staff were really friendly and the food was excellent. Our bungalow was spacious and clean, with two bathrooms and two air conditioners, which was a blessing. Overall, a great stay with no major complaints.
