“The photos are not of the actual hostal, which is under construction.”
We booked a specific room, but the hostel was still under construction, so we ended up staying at a nearby place instead. There was no front desk and nobody was available to let us in. Both phone numbers I had been given for arrival contact never answered.

The place was very clean and the staff were pleasant.
The private room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a simple breakfast (toast, cereal, coffee) was included, and the pool was beautiful! It was close to the main street with restaurants, cafés and bars, and a bus stop right across for heading to the Center or La Punta. However, when we arrived our room had not been cleaned, so they moved us to another room whose window faced the main road. The noise was extreme and we struggled to sleep. The next day we were able to transfer back to our originally booked room on the opposite side of the building, and that large room had no such issue.
The facilities were good, but they never mentioned that breakfast was included.
The volunteers were very attentive, but there were cats inside the room.
