Comfort Suites Manhattan

“I felt like I was staying at a construction site and the workers were in the rooms surrounding me.”

The toilet worked and the bed was acceptable for sleeping. However, the carpeting was ripped down the halls and we had to walk over the torn pieces. The facility was being painted, with buckets and equipment in the stairwells, which made it hard to use the back door for my dogs’ needs. Work trucks for tree branch removal were parked everywhere in the parking lot, making it look bad.

It was nice. The door kept wedging and the bathroom door was also problematic. It needs updating.

The location was convenient, close to restaurants, gas stations, and a Walmart right across the street. I liked the staff references too! We arrived to find a lot of construction or remodeling. On our floor we had to walk around painters, tarps, painting, tools, and loud music while they were working; it would have been better if they had blocked off the floor where they were doing the remodel. The smell was a bit overwhelming.

The room smelled like wet mildew. A little smelly.

The staff were very helpful. You could feel every movement of the other person in bed.
