The rooms were clean and tidy with organized parking and a decent location, but the rooms were a bit small and there was a strange smell in the hallways.

We were close to everything, strolling to the Embarcadero, Little Italy and the farmers market, and enjoyed many restaurants and cocktail spots with a view. The pool was nice but felt a bit flat; it could use more of an “outdoor” vibe.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious with fresh air, the gym and pool were functional, the location was excellent, and the value matched the price—you’ll want to stay here in San Diego.

The hotel sits right next to Little Italy and has plenty of nearby restaurants; you can walk to many spots and the area feels safe. 7/11 and Stabrucks are just around the corner, free coffee is available, and the reception is open 24/7. My room had a balcony. The gym was very small and offered limited options, and the duvet had red and brown stains.
