The room was incredible, old Japanese style, exactly and more than we expected. The public baths are also very nice for relaxing. The couple who run the place are super friendly.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious, the tiny sanctuary next door was very cute, and the hosts were friendly. The value for money was excellent. Thanks! The only downside was that we couldn’t leave and return at will after a certain hour.

The property was excellent and offered good value. I appreciated the old couple who seem to own or manage the place and I’ll be back. One suggestion: please check the air‑conditioner in the 1st‑floor room, it keeps switching to off mode. Overall, I really loved the place. The air‑conditioning needs improvement.

The hotel is a bit of a distance from Lake Kawaguchi Station; on the way we took a taxi and saw a whole lake with beautiful scenery. The room was tatami, huge, and the bed was very comfortable. We had to use a shared bathroom, but we could also soak in the hot springs. The owners are an elderly couple, both very nice, and the grandfather’s English was good. On the last day we were taken by the hotel’s car to Lake Kawaguchi Station for 1000 yen.
