I never actually stayed at Fennessy's. The hotel cancelled my booking from April that was scheduled for 16 August, so I cancelled it myself to get my money back. A few days later I reached out to the hotel, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

They cancelled my reservation and kept my money. Dishonest people—don't trust these thieves at all.

Let me explain what happened even though I never stayed. I booked and paid months in advance, got a confirmation text from the hotel, then drove four hours to arrive only to be told I wasn’t booked and the place was full. I can live with that. What I can’t stand is that they called me a VIP level 3 genius and still, over 24 hours later, no one has responded to my message. I’m now £150 out of pocket for a last‑minute hotel, not counting the cost of the place I couldn’t get into.

The location was great, the rooms felt very cozy and homey, and the breakfast was superb. 💚
