The view is splendid, just as charming as the house itself, and the location is very good.

We liked the enchanting view of the bay, the varied and well‑prepared breakfast, and the comfortable, clean room. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but keep in mind that walking down to Lapa and Centro is easy, while the return is tougher because the hotel sits on a hill. We had no trouble getting around with Uber, and it’s good to know that since it’s not a hotel, the staff is only available during limited hours.

It’s in an old house, with marvelous décor all very well kept. The garden is beautiful and the view is perfect. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Just one note: the place has a lot of stairs, which wasn’t an issue for me but is worth mentioning for other guests.

The spot’s right in the heart of the artsy part of town, so you’re never far from the main sights. The staff were super helpful, always ready to point you in the right direction.
