The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with everything you’d expect from a hotel. The staff were friendly. However, the noise was a problem. A wedding party was happening, and my room was right beside the corridor, so I could hear people walking and music late into the night. The hotel claims no curfew or noise limits because it has no neighbours, but that doesn’t account for other guests. I understand late parties can happen, but guests should have been warned. If I’d known, I could have booked elsewhere and they’d likely have had a room for the wedding guests. I wasn’t told about it upon arrival. The staff apologized for the noise but couldn’t do anything. Food was also a bit pricey.

We were at the Wambacher Mühle for the second time. The staff are very friendly and open. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. The price‑performance ratio is outstanding.
