The room was nice. There was no breakfast, and the chef was sick.

There was no breakfast, but the room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the location was great. The only issue was that, because the building is historic, they couldn’t install an elevator.
The location was fantastic, but the pre‑arrival emails sent through Booking had broken links for the check‑in process.

The building was beautiful and atmospheric, the room cozy, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and very clean; the hotel itself was excellent, centrally located, and very quiet at night, with a nicely maintained bathroom that was a bit small. However, we were very disappointed with the breakfast and the fact that the restaurant was closed for renovations, especially since we stayed during peak season; it might have been better to schedule those works in the off‑season. It was also a pity that there was no front desk upon arrival, the bathroom lacked storage and some practical amenities such as shelving, the room windows couldn’t be opened which made it less pleasant and not very hygienic. Additionally, the stairs were steep and therefore not ideal for people with mobility issues, though that was not a problem for us personally.
