“Inexpensive Riad but needs work”

The property has a beautiful interior and is inside the medina. When we arrived, Abdul showed us how to get out of the medina. Abdul helped us book a taxi when we left and walked us to it. There’s a beautiful Irwin on the rooftop (he’s working on renovating it). Renovations are ongoing, but I think they should focus on electrical, plumbing, and AC upgrades. In my first room, water poured out of the air conditioner, creating a huge puddle on the floor—right above a light, so it seemed like a fire hazard. The room smells very musty.

“Charming Riad, Great Location”

The location was perfect, and this building, which dates back to the 13th century, is full of charm. I really loved my room, and the rooftop offers a stunning view of the medina. We sat and sketched there each night. Fes is a delight, and this Riad captures the spirit of the old city.
