“Ottima la posizione, bagno in camera da rivedere”
The location is the real highlight of the place, right in Piazza Stesicoro with a balcony overlooking Via Principale and a view of Etna, making the stay the most enjoyable part that made us overlook the room’s shortcomings. From there, you can walk a few minutes to all the main sights and the central station is only one metro stop away, just 50 m from the hotel. Daily housekeeping with fresh sheets and towels is another plus, and when we asked for an AC repair, the staff acted immediately, showing great availability. The room is fine for a one or two‑night stay, but unfortunately the bathroom is very dated, with worn-out fittings and an old shower that, even when clean, always looks a bit dirty. Another flaw is that cleaning starts at 8:00 am every day, and with no soundproofing, the noise makes it impossible to sleep as if the cleaners were inside the room, which can be a serious issue for anyone needing rest. The property has a lot of potential but is left a bit unfinished.
The spot was exactly in the center.
The happy location of the property lets you reach all the major attractions without public transport. With a nearby bus, we quickly got to Acicastello and Acitrezza, both beautiful spots, and on a lovely day we swam under the Norman castle, a marvel. Everything was impeccable; the property has a kitchen area where you can heat food, a coffee machine with free pods, a fridge, and a microwave. The room was tidied every day. I thank the manager for his cordiality and for being available to store luggage both when we arrived and when we left.
“Świetna lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko.”
The location is a major advantage, but also a disadvantage because of the noise from the main street. The hotel is very close to the main square, right on the promenade, with many shops, restaurants, and stops nearby. There’s both metro and several bus lines, including the airport line, and rooms are cleaned daily. The big noise makes it hard for people who sleep lightly.
The location and friendliness.
