The location and bathroom were clean, but my room had a smell (509).

The room was reasonable, staff were friendly and helpful, and it had a hair dryer and good toiletries! However, the carpet throughout the hotel is not only unhygienic but a terrible choice for asthmatics or allergy sufferers. The disinfectant used in the rooms smells awful, like urine, and despite everything seeming clean, the odor was so unpleasant that we asked them not to clean the room. The location, while central, is not good because there are many drug users right outside the hotel, with their feces and urine everywhere, and unfortunately this happens throughout the city.

The staff were very kind, the coffee was available all day, and I especially liked the common area, but I had a room with a bunk bed; I would have preferred a single bed on one floor, though it worked out fine.
