The best thing about this place was its location. The shower was very small and moldy. The window that wasn’t really a window had a sheer shade that didn’t block the outside light at night. It wasn’t really a hotel; it was a section of an apartment building with a few rooms and a very unpleasant stairway to access. Signs told you to close the door, but the handle was broken off so it couldn’t be pulled shut.

It was the best place, the best apartment in all of Rome, but there was no view in front.

The location was good, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. When we arrived it was confusing to get in, and I helped two other couples. There was no one available for assistance, and the shower leaked when set to full power because the drain couldn’t handle the volume of water. These are minor issues in a beautiful building in a great location.
