The place was clean and the owners were pleasant and helped me several times, but when we stayed there was no hot water, which is the biggest drawback; I understand the heater is solar-powered, so on rainy days the water doesn’t heat up, and there is no elevator—note that it’s a small hotel, so if you have heavy luggage like we do, it can be uncomfortable.

It’s near Patong Beach, but moving luggage is a hassle because there’s no elevator.
