“Worst experience”

The worst experience of my many years traveling happened here. I booked for 2 days, but after 2 days—1 day again—everything was fully booked and I had already reserved all available dates. I arrived to check in at 12:00 p.m. and was told my room was still occupied because the previous guests had requested a late check‑out and were still sleeping. I asked why they would allow previous guests to stay longer at the expense of new guests who already had confirmed reservations. They apologized, asked me to come back in a couple of hours, and assured me that everything would be ready. I left my luggage there, as it was heavy, and went for a walk. I had walked to the hotel in the heat and was already exhausted. Three hours later, I returned, expecting to check in. Instead, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled and that my room had been given to someone else. When I asked for an explanation, they claimed that they had somehow cancelled my reservation. This is simply not true. My payment card was linked to the reservation. I had stayed at the same hotel just a few days earlier, and they charged the very same card without any issues. Moreover, when I arrived at the hotel in person at noon, no one asked me to pay. If there had been any problem with the payment, I could have paid immediately at reception. Because of this, I can only conclude that the hotel deliberately chose not to charge my card, did not ask me for payment when I arrived, cancelled my reservation, and extended the stay of the previous guests instead—most likely because they were offered an extra payment or tip. I have never been treated so unprofessionally or disrespectfully by a hotel before. This was my first experience of being left without accommodation despite having a confirmed reservation. Be aware: even if you have a confirmed booking, this hotel may still leave you without a room. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. They completely ruined my day, caused unnecessary stress, and showed absolutely no respect for their guests.

“Fantastisch”

Everything I see is correct: the staff are welcoming, helpful, and considerate. The only small issue is that the entrance is a bit hard to find; the bungalows are tucked behind a lane.

“Lovely unique place to stay at with a very friendly team”

The property was lovely and I especially liked the private outdoor seating area, which was a relaxing setting. It’s a perfect spot, just a 10‑minute walk from the port and a 5‑minute walk from the beautiful sunset views. The staff were super friendly and asked daily if I wanted my room cleaned, which was nice. The shower/bathroom was lovely. The only downside is that the location shown on Google Maps isn’t the same as the actual place. I got very lost and locals tried to help as best they could. The entrance is on the right as you reach the radiant gym… it has a little sign but I didn’t see it and kept following the directions further. Once I found it, everything was fine and the location was perfect.
