“Great location, comfy beds, wouldn’t stay more than 2 nights”
The rooms were very quiet and clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was great and the dinner in the restaurant was lovely. However, we stayed in a suite that was huge but not very practical for a family; there was only one sink in the bathroom, so filling a kettle or water meant using the bathroom sink or leaving the room for the kitchenette on the floor. There was nowhere to hang clothes or unpack. We stayed for three nights and it felt like the rooms were set up for single nights, so there was no room refresh during that time, even though it was expensive. Fresh towels were available. The onsen was nice but tiny. Breakfast was okay, but having the same three days of meals was not great. They seemed to have many rules (e.g., you can only have a boiled egg if you're a vegetarian, check‑in is only at 3 pm even if rooms are ready), and the stay felt more annoying than generous and warm. Maybe that was just because our previous hotel was so welcoming and generous with service, which colored our experience.
