The hotel’s location was great and it even had its own parking, while the reception staff were very friendly and the (sparse) breakfast consisted of a single toasted buttered slice with jam and some fruit; however, the room smelled dated, the showerhead was so calcified that water sprayed sideways onto the wall and then into the drain instead of the person standing beneath it (not extreme), making it impossible to rinse soap or shampoo, and although we stayed only one night as a stop‑over, the price‑to‑quality ratio felt off.

The instructions are clean and it’s very well located, close to everything in Bacalar’s center. The parking.

Nice outdoor area with a terrace. Super location (right in the center). Air‑conditioning and TV in the room. Private bathroom. Secure parking for the car. Reception is always staffed. Bad smell in the bathroom (just before moving in). The rooms were not clean; used cotton swabs lay on the floor and a layer of dust. There is no smoking area, contrary to what the description says.

The hotel is very pretty, it’s close to the square, places to eat, the fort (viewpoint), shops, it’s great and you can take many lovely photos at the hotel. I recommend it. I didn’t like that they misinformed me about an hour of free time and I ended up having to pay for it, and it wasn’t the payment that was wrong but the bad information. That’s how I couldn’t take advantage of the benefit.
