“Fantastic price for fantastic facility. Good location!”

Beanstalk offered fantastic value for money, with clean beds, excellent showers, and good breakfast. The location was good, though it would have been nicer if it were closer to the train station in the humidity, but overall it was a fantastic stay for a great price. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I would have liked a small map of the building, location, and recommended eats nearby.

“Great staff. Shame about some of the hotel facilities.”

The staff were very good, attentive and accommodating, and the breakfast was great value at 250 baht. However, the hotel entrance looked more like a prison with no sign or name, and I had to walk around twice in a taxi to find it. Inside the room, a 12‑inch step—apparently part of a Bijou edition—was a ridiculous obstacle for someone with a heavy suitcase and who is elderly. There was nothing to sit on, so I had to borrow a stool from reception, and there were no tea or coffee facilities.

Uniq is a modern yet traditional, affordable hostel in a good location. A few minor things are not worth mentioning.

“I would stay here again if I have less luggage, it was a calm and relaxing atmosphere.”

The Japanese concept and eco‑friendly approach were positives, but there was no continuous AC in the rooms.
