One The Island

“Great location and comfortable stay”

The property sits in a great location near the Atoll marine centre, which was the main reason for my trip. The staff helped organise flights to and from Male and the connecting boat to the island. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, so if you want to visit Naifaru I’d recommend staying here. Nothing to add.

“Traumhafter Urlaub - mit tollen Menschen, & mit verkraftbaren Abstrichen”

The staff were incredibly kind and did everything they could to meet our wishes. The small size of the hotel was a big plus and made it very quiet. It’s very family‑friendly and the value for money is amazing. Geeta washed our clothes every day and we could add ours, which was a huge relief. Elsa was always available and helpful. Every morning fresh fruit was served for breakfast, and Saritam worked hard to keep things varied – I love the Maldivian breakfast and roshis! She even brought a surprise for my son almost every morning. We weren’t told before that there was a huge construction site right outside the front door, so the stunning view from the roof terrace was gone. That was disappointing for the first few days, but we eventually got used to it. The room was missing some items and had a few broken things at first, but that was fixed. Cleanliness was only superficial, with some mold in the bathroom. The excursions promised were more than what could be delivered – for example, two free beach trips a week were promised, but only one was offered. The availability of excursions also depended on whether the boats or the dive instructor from Aqua Dive Center were free, which was limited at the time.

“Very nice affordable hotel and island if you are looking to have a peaceful, clam, relaxing, quite v”

The place was exactly what we needed: affordable, quiet, calm, family‑friendly, and culturally welcoming, with no bikini beach. I liked the Maldivian breakfast each morning and appreciated the great hospitality and programs. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, which wasn’t clear in the description. Otherwise everything met my expectations for a relaxing vacation.

“Just the most amazing holiday made entirely by the help, knowledge and friendliness of the staff”

The property is in a great spot by the beach, near the dive centre, the turtle sanctuary, and the café. The terrace offers fantastic views, and we were served breakfast there. The staff were extremely helpful and handled everything with ease. The property was spotless, with towels and sheets supplied on request. The beds were super comfy. Nargiz was a treasure, arranging excursions and ferry tickets, while Saritam was brilliant at her job and always served wonderful breakfasts with a huge smile.
