The hot spring was the best! The room was clean! I would have liked a microwave in the room.

When we arrived, a light drizzle fell, but the staff welcomed us with umbrellas. They also helped my father, who has mobility issues, with great care, which was a huge relief. The view from the room and the bath was a continuous green expanse, letting us enjoy privacy from outside eyes. The cedar bath was amazing! However, my father, who uses a cane and assistance, could walk slowly but asked in advance via email whether a wheelchair could reach the room. The answer was no; the path to the room involved gravel and stone steps that were hard for him to navigate. I was looking forward to the hot spring, but the bath and washroom were underground, and although there were handrails, the sudden stairs made them unusable. I had to bring hot water in buckets to the room and wipe him with a towel a few times. The stairs are a bit worrisome for small children or older guests. For healthy travelers, though, this place is very comfortable and satisfying.
