If you’re after peace and quiet, this is a solid pick – it’s only about a seven‑minute drive from Monte Verde’s center, yet feels removed from the hustle. Within a hundred meters you’ve got a zip‑line, horseback rides and quad tours, and the owner is really attentive.

The chalet is perfect for unplugging from city noise; it’s close enough to town but you can still get away from traffic and crowds. The downside is that the quad‑bike trails start at 9 am right next door, so light sleepers who like to sleep in might be disturbed.

The chalet is simple yet comfortable and lived up to what we expected, but the real highlight was the hosts – they jumped in to help when we ran into a personal issue. The only gripe is the gas shower, which would cut out now and then.
