The rooms are big, clean and look nice, and the bed is really comfortable. On the downside, they don’t really cater to non‑Asian guests – nobody speaks English, breakfast is only Asian‑style, and the walkway outside the door was being torn up while we were there.

Great spot for hopping on the Suzhou metro or the South high‑speed train, and inside the hotel the lighting and décor give off a calm, zen vibe that’s surprisingly comfortable.

Staff were super friendly and the on‑site laundry was a lifesaver – I managed to wash three days’ worth of clothes after staying elsewhere. The hotel sits right by both metro and high‑speed rail, with a covered walk from the station, and the whole area is quiet; breakfast is simple but relaxing.

The hotel provides both a washing machine and a dryer, and they even help dry your clothes. The only drawback is that the laundry area gets swamped with business travelers, so you often end up waiting until late at night for a free machine.
