The spot was nice, the street beautiful, but the address wasn’t the one given in the WhatsApp message. According to that info, I should have had two rooms (Sotto del Stella and Champagne), yet I only received keys for one. The Booking description claimed the room had a view, a lake view, and an old city view, but there was no view at all. Instead, you can shake hands with the neighbors across the room! The room was supposed to have a desk, but I couldn’t find one. When I asked, the lady wondered why I chose a room I didn’t like. I guess I chose it based on the misleading information. If you’re in that room reading this while sitting on the bidet, beware: what goes in the bidet comes out of the hole in the floor beside you. Enjoy!

The location was fine. The room and breakfast were disappointing: a cramped room for four with hardly comfortable beds, a very awkward hydro‑massage tub that made showering difficult, only one chair and no side table. Breakfast was inadequate with cold food, rude staff who were not at all helpful, and the room cleaning was rough. The price was high (and we were not in peak season) compared to what was offered.
