The room was clean and the location was fine. The experience was extremely disappointing and I would advise people to think twice before staying at Cafe Pinnalanda. The only positive was that the room itself was clean. The service and how extra charges were handled were very disappointing. The owner tried to charge us an additional fee for being about 20 minutes past checkout. This was especially unreasonable because I had already explained to the owner that we had briefly gone out to get something to eat. What worried me more was the lack of transparency about charges. There was no clear information in the room or given to us stating that water or drinks consumed from the room would incur extra fees. Charges like this should be clearly communicated to guests before or during their stay, not presented as unexpected costs afterwards.

“Good location. Not supportive staff”

The location is good. The staff were not supportive enough; I asked for early check‑in and they demanded extra money. They are not available. There is a lot of noise from the corridor.

The property’s location is good, but after 5.30 pm the area around it is completely deserted. There is no staff, no security at night. After 5.30 pm it’s completely deserted. No shops even close by. The day we stayed, we were the only people who had booked a room in the property. It was scary without anyone around for an emergency.
