I was polite staff, but we had to switch rooms three times on arrival: first an unfinished floor, then bedding that looked stained like bodily fluids, and we were charged for things we had already paid for—never coming back.

The staff were polite, yet they collected a £50 holding deposit on top of the already steep price for a one‑night stay and warned that the refund could take up to seven days—quite shady.

Staff were very friendly, the room and view were amazing, the food was great, room service was efficient and speedy, and the spa was lovely—I’d definitely stay again. Only issue was the reception had too few staff on arrival; there was a queue and only one person available.

The location was very pleasant and the venue looked lovely for a wedding, though there was a fair amount of noise from the room above—footsteps and the like—but it wasn't excessive.

The room was so hot I couldn’t sleep; when I finally drifted off, a fire alarm woke me early in the morning. Reception said I could use the spa, but the spa receptionist told me I couldn’t.
