The place was not what we expected—coffee, sugar, and creamer were stale, no refills, and it was a one‑off; no extra blanket, windows wouldn't open, and rooms its Wendy houses WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

The peace and serenity were perfect, and the cottage felt cozy. Host Sue was absolutely sweet and welcoming. Waking up to the river’s sound and birds was a delight. The lodge was breathtakingly beautiful and great for photos, and I love the rock pool. Absolutely loved everything as always!

I had a great stay at Treehouse River Lodge this weekend. The place was neat, clean, and well kept, and the host was super friendly and welcoming. It’s also perfectly located near the Shongweni Farmers Market, so I’d definitely recommend it.
