I stayed in a quiet spot, the room was spotless and the bed was super comfy—I slept through the whole week. The host spoke nicely and seemed genuinely concerned about our stay. I was supposed to leave today, but the place was so good I booked another two weeks. The hosts also own other properties, which is handy to know. I can’t find any faults.

The room looked nice after I rearranged it; the bed and everything were a bit off but fixed quickly. The sea view is only in the back bedroom—though you can see the sea, it’s not the best, but it’s good value. The shower works fine, but the part where the head attaches is damaged; otherwise, everything you need is there.

The price and location were great. There was no TV, and the owners slept in the bedroom next door, if I’m remembering correctly.

I’ll qualify the criticism by noting how cheap the room was: for a three‑night stay I paid what a regular hotel would charge for one night. If you’re not picky about the room (it’s clean), this place is solid value. It’s basically a two‑bed house with two bedrooms and one shared bathroom, plus a shared lounge and kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen has cooking and drink‑making facilities, so you can save money. The room is marketed as luxury but it isn’t; it’s very basic, with no wardrobe—just a flimsy hanging frame. The heating was a single small radiator that didn’t work. The owner suggested I ask a fellow guest who was good at that sort of thing.
