The location and check‑in process were good. The person in charge is old, replies slowly to messages, and only speaks Italian. The apartment is very old, with outdated furniture, and not very clean.

“The not so Dolce Vita”

The location was good, a nice area, public transport easily reachable, bars, restaurants, and markets around, and the city centre is within walking distance. The staff was unfriendly and gave no clear information upon arrival; we rang the bell during the check‑in time listed on the website and no one answered, then we called the number and a not‑so‑friendly man said someone would come down to pick us up for the room, but no one arrived for 30 minutes until we rang the bell again. This time someone answered, but the instructions were unclear because the intercom volume is too low no matter how close you are. Finally, someone came to escort us to the room. Aside from that, the room is not worth the price they ask for; there is no soap bar or dispenser for hand washing, only four tiny shower gel/shampoo bottles for everyone. Additionally, the toilet flush wasn’t working on the first day, but that was the only time. The place is called “La dolce vita”; a little effort on small details could make it “Dolce.”

Quiet. The air conditioning doesn’t work properly and the mattress is uncomfortable.
