Topkapi Palace is a 19-minute walk, while the Basilica Cistern is a 10-minute stroll. Comfortable rooms feature air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and city views, with free WiFi, soundproofing, and parquet floors.

The location and the kitchen were decent, but the basement was infested with cockroaches – we were told that was normal for a basement – and then we were moved upstairs for an extra fee where there were loads of bedbugs. Housekeeping was terrible; we switched rooms three times and each had its own issues: a broken hair‑dryer, bathroom doors that wouldn’t close, mould in the shower, more cockroaches and bedbugs, and on the second‑floor room the shower water drained poorly and spread across the whole bathroom. The walls had no soundproofing, so we could hear indecent noises through them. There was no kettle or iron in the room.

I ordered a specific room but received a different one with only two beds, and I had several problems that I recorded on video; I’m asking for a refund.

The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsible, but the reception was rude and arrogant. The hotel description didn’t match reality: there are no terraces, the view is just the neighboring building, there’s no toothpaste or brushes, and the reception is actually in a different building. In the bathroom there are no shelves for a hairpin, and the tiles are very slippery.
