I was asked by the host if I wanted to have sex with him, and he also claimed that it was normal for guests to come here for that purpose. I declined, locked myself in my room, felt uncomfortable but not threatened. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore, packed my things, and slipped out that evening. I would have preferred not to experience that at all… Also see Maja's review from 20.05.2024. I reported this to customer service the next day, but they still haven't resolved it, so I decided to write this review.

“Perfect location and super design”

The pool was fantastic, the rooms stayed spotless and everything functioned just as expected.

“Voyage dans un autre espace temps.”

The location was great and easy to reach, making it perfect for a stopover. The kitchen and fridges were handy. However, everything felt very old‑fashioned and even obsolete. Inside the lodge it was clean, but the rest of the property was cluttered with discarded items that seemed destined for the bin. The pool area was the same.

We enjoyed a truly delightful stay in a wonderful setting. The experience was unique, as if traveling back in time while having all the necessities. The building itself dates from 1817! Simon was a very kind and helpful host. We hope to return next year. Marcel & Yvon from Holland
