Maria was communicative, helpful, and puts energy into her B and B. Quiet. Garden if needed. Not too far a walk to local food, bar, and cafe services. Easy to walk into historic Ravenna.

Modern rooms tastefully furnished with a spacious bathroom; the host was very kind and helpful. The bed is not King‑size (as incorrectly described in the room description). Breakfast is exclusively sweet and offers a machine with coffee pods for coffee, cappuccino, and a selection of teas, yogurt, and varieties of crackers, cookies, and brioches all packaged.

I booked at the Dimora delle Emme because my son had just had surgery in Ravenna. I relied on reviews that were probably false; it is absolutely impossible for the property to have a rating of 8.7. I contacted the host beforehand to explain our needs, because for one night, before the pre‑admission, the boy who had already had a spinal operation slept with us. I explicitly asked if there would be an extra single bed that was comfortable… We arrived and entered a nightmare room! Both the added cot and the double bed had springs sticking out, the room was dirty, the air‑conditioner didn’t work, and there were an indefinable number of mosquitoes (sanitation). At my wife’s request, the host gave us a mosquito machine, but since we couldn’t open the window we literally became intoxicated! A psychological and physical harm to my son first, the next night a nightmare that made him spend a day in the hospital for pre‑operative checks without being able to stand! We had to change accommodation, booking again on Booking, a move that caused us stress, inconvenience, and wasted time. The host, probably worried about a complaint, cancelled the booking and initiated a refund. The room will certainly be cleaned, but it is a property that needs inspections, and I ask for a response regarding the damage we suffered.
