The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and both the room and breakfast were good, but the room is not wheelchair‑accessible. The location is unsuitable for tourists – it’s noisy and the surroundings are quite unattractive. The hotel has seen better days.

The breakfast, the bedroom, and the restaurant’s late opening were great, but I found a small, already opened and drunk water bottle on an uncleaned side table. Still, it was a minor oversight that can happen.

The room and facilities were good, and I slept very well, which is rare when traveling. Despite being near a motorway and a busy road, the place was surprisingly quiet overall. Breakfast was fine; some items took a bit longer to be replenished, which is understandable. I arrived on a folding bike, and the staff’s greeting at check‑in was off‑putting because they insisted I could not bring my bike into the room, even though it was dry and clean and I had pointed out that a folding bike counts as luggage with the DB. They replied snidely that the hotel handles it differently and that my bike had to stay outside. This was my first time experiencing that. If they had offered decent bike racks where I could secure the frame and wheel with a 90 cm lock (such racks exist), it would have been somewhat acceptable – otherwise, with the local conditions, I could have easily moved the bike away at night. Together with the staff we found an acceptable solution, but it shouldn’t have depended on the staff stretching internal policies.
