“Magnífico rincón.”
La Posada de Grimaldo is a spectacular, quiet place surrounded by vegetation (unfortunately abandoned by institutions). Still, the surroundings are beautiful. The inn is pleasant and peaceful. It’s super clean (I’m prone to allergies if there’s dust or humidity, and I had no problems). Some rooms face the main road that cuts through the town, but the walls and windows are well insulated. I’m a bit sensitive to noise when sleeping, but I had no issues. It’s built on an old parador, and the reconstruction is very well done, with high-quality materials and great care. We chose the inn because we needed a stop during a long car trip to rest, recharge, and continue the next day, and now that we know it, we would have stayed a few more days to explore the area. César’s welcome and attention are magnificent; he is attentive and explains everything clearly and warmly. The room is part of an apartment where you share a kitchen and living room with others. I love sharing and having common areas, but others might want more privacy. Still, you can stay in the room. For the price-quality ratio, I think the place is perfect.
