Florida Hotel

“Prijs kwaliteit hotel is niet in verhouding.”

The hotel’s location is fantastic – a ten‑minute walk gets you to the beach, most malls and restaurants, and the pool is excellent, always with a free lounge chair even when the place is full. Unfortunately, the bathroom was far from clean and the shower sprayed water everywhere because you have to stand in the tub to rinse. The staff seemed clueless about hospitality; check‑in was a disaster. They promised rooms at 14:00 but nothing was ready, and we kept hearing “just a minute” until we got angry and finally got a room, with the excuse that housekeeping was understaffed. They demand immediate payment and a strict 12:00 check‑out, yet the lobby was chaotic every day with guests and luggage lining up. I’ve never seen anything like it. They said housekeeping would come at 15:00 but never did, and when we pointed it out they claimed it wasn’t our problem. Their English is poor and they are unfriendly – a hospitality training would be essential. All in all the stay was okay, but I wouldn’t return.

The pool and rooftop bar are great, and the staff are mostly polite and attentive. The breakfast is modest and not always tasty—just average. There are no balconies, and you can’t hang clothes in the room; no one knows where to do that. Check‑in was slow, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea.

“Tạm”

The location is fine, and there’s a parking lot a few hundred metres away. The breakfast buffet isn’t varied, with very few main dishes. The weekend price seems much higher, so it doesn’t feel worth the money. Room 4K is probably the smallest.

We stayed with our family for 18 days, traveling without tours for the first time in Vietnam. The hotel itself is relatively clean, but the rooms are dirty and hardly cleaned. The pool is clean. The location is terrible; the Nha Trang beach is awful with constantly dirty water, and the road to the beach is a nightmare. You’ll see it for yourself. If you have no money, don’t go. If you can, stay in the city centre. Florida is not the centre; you’ll have to walk a lot. All good cafés and restaurants are in the centre near the Annova and Empareian hotels. I recommend staying at the Kamrani hotels and the north Nha Trang, but get all‑inclusive. It’s a nightmare to find a decent place to eat, and it takes a lot of time to figure it out.
