The only thing worth mentioning was the location. The bathroom was broken, and the staff didn’t speak English. Even though we had indicated a 23:45 arrival time on the booking site, we were charged an extra €20 late fee, and they insisted on cash payment even though the booking was already prepaid online.

The location was great, right by the station/metro. Breakfast at the nearby café was very good, 1x coffee/1x pastry. The rooms were modern and clean, and the towels were changed every 3 days. The air conditioning worked. The basic kitchen tools were missing, so if you plan to cook often, that could be a problem. The apartment isn’t as private as advertised; the hallway and kitchen are shared with three other rooms. The elevator costs €0.20 per use, and the owner brought us about €2 the next day so we had some change.

The guesthouse was wonderful; I really enjoyed staying there and never wanted to leave the room. From the window I had a beautiful view of the city and the volcano. Armando was very kind, showing and explaining everything. A nice bonus was the included breakfast, and in the café you could choose coffee and croissant. This accommodation deserves only excellent ratings.

The location near the train station was good, and the room and surroundings were clean. The hotel is in a very dirty part of town, surrounded by homeless people, drug users, and the path to it is unpleasant. The shared fridge also doesn’t hold our tea. Breakfast was insufficient, offering only sweets and just one dry croissant.
