Nothing. The place isn’t even a three‑star hotel, let alone a single star. The bathroom was dirty, no soap, no toilet paper. The furniture looked like it belonged to the 1970s. It’s not on the beach, and there was a lot of noise at night.

The “Sahara Beach AKHFENNIR” isn’t just a name: it’s actually in Akhfennir, even though it’s advertised as being in Tarfaya. I booked a room because I needed to stay overnight in Tarfaya and happened to find it on the way. When I entered, they asked me to pay in cash, and when I explained that I had already paid through Booking, they told me I’d have to request a cancellation. I ended up canceling the reservation, since I wasn’t even at my intended destination, and had to find a hotel when I arrived.

We had a large room of 30 m². The place itself feels a bit abandoned, but the staff and the villagers are all very friendly. The breakfast at the nearby restaurant was okay but not outstanding.

The staff were very friendly, but the room was miserable—no TV, no elevator. Everything else was just staff friendliness, a narrow bed, child’s bed with dirty covers.

I was trying to book, but when I entered the address it sent me somewhere else, about 80 kilometers away, so I gave up.
