I was excited because it was close to everything, but when I arrived I was told my booked room with a private bathroom was under repair and I’d get a larger room instead, yet the new room had a shared bathroom on the 3rd floor. I stayed for 5 days and there was no housekeeping—no bed sheets changed, no towels, and the bathroom didn’t have running water. The staff who helped me was friendly, but she wasn’t Evelyn; the real Evelyn was very sparse and didn’t provide water either.

They let me check in early, which was great, but I had to pay more than the price I booked because I used my credit card that was already on file.

The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the host’s service was good.

The place has an amazing façade in Cartagena, and we stayed in a private‑bathroom room that we liked a lot; it was spacious enough for four friends and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop terrace is lovely with beautiful views, so I recommend it 100 %. The only downside was that payment had to be made in cash; there was no way to charge the card through Booking.
