The motel feels like it was built seventy years ago and has a ramshackle charm. My room was clean and had good basic amenities. It’s just off Interstate 5 north, yet feels isolated, as if the freeway’s exit and entrance were built just for this unassuming, soporific motel. I slept well. The only downside was the lack of a bathtub and an uninviting shower stall.

I called ahead about a dog‑friendly option, but they never told me anything and then insisted I bring my dog everywhere; I ended up checking out early and they refused to refund, claiming it wasn’t allowed by law. I got a refund with your help! Everything else was terrible.
