Central location, a stone’s throw from the main monuments of Sultanahmet. The boy at reception was super friendly and gave us great directions, even upgraded us to a better room than the one we had booked.

“The perfect place for sightseeing Istanbul”

We had the most pleasant stay at this hotel! The location was amazing, just a few steps from all the main tourist attractions, and there’s a nearby tram and metro. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very nice—someone was always at the reception if needed. I would definitely choose this place again when I return to Istanbul.

The location is fabulous. Triple standard room 304 offers an excellent spot: spacious, bright with views of fragments of the Bosphorus and the Asian shore, and directly across from the palace wall of Topkapı. The manager Engi is charming: warm, enthusiastic, always ready with advice. To top it off, tea, coffee, and fresh water are available anytime. The hotel is fairly quiet even though the sound insulation between rooms isn’t exceptional. Traffic under the three windows in the room is barely noticeable: vehicles move slowly on a single one‑way lane. Perfection isn’t world‑class, so there were three technical issues in the bathroom. Two were fixed quickly. The third was still being resolved when I left. I left delighted and recommend the hotel, especially room 304, which greatly contributed to the success of my stay—particularly the last three days when the rain came. Finally, the cherry on top: Seaway Hotel is just 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and very close to a lively street.
