Breakfast was excellent, the bed was good, the staff were friendly, and the surroundings were beautiful with an interesting history. I might have forgotten my phone charger. The stairs to the upper floor were a bit difficult, the breakfast room felt a little cramped, there was no TV (as far as I could see), but I was there to sleep. I got lost in Gävle (Strömsbro-Hille), so Gävle municipality needs better signage.

The lakeside setting is tranquil and beautiful, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast is nice. The historic building is lovely. The rooms are set up like attic cabins with a shared bathroom and kitchen, which feels a bit rustic.

This place is a gem, unique, and feels like Bullerbü. It’s pure calm with a lake and a small beach. The owner is incredibly warm. The rooms are simple but have a good bed. You don’t need anything else there—just enjoy the place and feel at home.
