The room was bright and lovely, everything was clean, there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room, parking outside was convenient, and the breakfast was exceptional with cereal, orange juice, tea or coffee, toast, and a freshly cooked full English Breakfast; we recommend staying here for a night when attending a nearby wedding.

It was a lovely little stopover on a long drive, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was basic but clean, it offered excellent value and a great breakfast.

Breakfast was nice and plentiful, and we had a good chat in the morning. The landlady was great, cooking us an evening meal shortly after we booked. The rooms were lovely and clean, the bed linen was lovely and warm, and it was quiet!!! Nothing negative, just very good value for money.
