“Catastrophique, inacceptable, à fuir”
The breakfast was barely acceptable, and the setting was okay, but everything else ruined the experience. The reception was cold, the place was a shabby cottage that had been patched up quickly (paint), yet the 50‑year‑old tiles were still there. The cottage was advertised as a room, but the sink was 50 years old, repainted and peeling. The bathroom light was out, the kitchen faucet was loose and dripped oddly, the toilets wouldn’t empty properly, and the bathroom door almost fell on my feet. The bed was deplorable. There was no air‑conditioning, the Wi‑Fi was advertised but didn’t work, the outlets were ripped out, there was no hot water at 22:00, and no coffee machine. The room I expected in the beautiful house turned out to be in an added building next door. The pool was barely maintained, not very clean, and especially cold. The price‑to‑service ratio was catastrophic and the staff were condescending.
