“Frustrating”

The place was clean, ran efficiently and was close to the train station. However, it shouldn’t have such a high rating. Before arriving I sent two messages with questions and got no reply. When I called, there was no English at all—none of the staff spoke English, and there were no English signs either. All the usual western apps like Google Translate and basic services didn’t work anywhere on the property, so we couldn’t access email or anything else, whether on our own data or the hotel’s Wi‑Fi. This was the only bad experience out of eight places in China so far. On a minor note, the room signage and handouts were also not in English. They serve dinner, but only at 9:30 pm, which is too late for most travelers. Breakfast had no English either, and no staff spoke English at all, and no apps worked. I would not recommend this hotel.

“Excellent stay.”

Located right in the city centre, the staff and breakfast are excellent. The metro is almost 2 km away, but a taxi is cheaper. Laundry service is subpar, poorly priced, and expensive.

I’m just saying the hotel is within walking distance of South Railway Station, and that’s all – nothing else to note.
