I could enjoy a classic hot spring at a reasonable price; the food wasn't pricey, but the bath was excellent. Some facilities were old, yet given the cost it was tolerable.

The breakfast was delicious.

Both dinner and breakfast buffets were satisfying; the large bath was free and I could soak slowly, and the amenities were complete. The building was old, with dampness and a musty odor.

The meals were disappointing, and the food‑display counter was cluttered in a way that felt like it encouraged waste.

Having two different hot springs with distinct benefits let me soak at my own pace, and the aunt who served breakfast made the onigiri unbelievably tasty—fluffy, with a delicious plum filling, something I’d never experienced before. Even though breakfast times were scheduled, they welcomed me early and still served me promptly, and the 11 am checkout let me enjoy one more morning soak, which I found very thoughtful; I’ll definitely bring my family back. On the downside, the floor on the dining floor was a bit dirty, and the mirror in the Japanese‑style sleeping room was unsettling—I’d prefer it removed or covered with a noren.
