“Our stay wasn’t very pleasant having construction workers conversing loudly and smoking cigarettes right next to our win”

The location was fine unless construction was happening; the hotel should disclose that so guests can decide. We received a room that was supposed to face the street with a queen and a twin bed, but instead we got a queen and a thin, squeaky mattress supported by cushions. The room faced an abandoned garden and a semi‑open construction site with noisy workers at 6:30 am. We asked to switch rooms and get a refund for the first night. Front desk staff Ruben was nice, inspected the room, and said he’d issue a credit for the first night on October 9, 2026. I hope the credit arrives soon; otherwise I’ll dispute the charge with my credit card company.

“Our recent visit to Zurich”

The hotel is close to the historic district; breakfast was phenomenal and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel was under construction and I couldn’t see the signage from the street. The air conditioner ran through the window, and ours was disconnected, causing me headaches and raising health concerns.

“Lovely hotel, beautiful guest lounge and very welcoming staff.”

Nice spot near the old town, staff were very knowledgeable, and it’s close to great restaurants and cafés. The lounge was lovely and breakfast was very good, but the air conditioning didn’t cope with the heat, so the room stayed warm and made sleeping uncomfortable.
