The Masseria is gorgeous with a beautiful garden, and our room was spacious. The bathroom was small, and the toilet had a broken ring. When you hang the shower, the water shoots upward, so you have to keep the shower head in your hand. Breakfast was sparse—just cappuccino, one brioche, and some crackers—no fruit, yogurt, cereals, or anything else.

The place is stunning, both in structure and surroundings, and the owners are very friendly and supportive. However, there is no Wi‑Fi, and the directions to get there are confusing.

It’s a quiet spot, though the Masseria is also used for events and parties. When you open the window, the door creaks from the train passing by.
