The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a bad morning. The locker for my stuff was too narrow, basically too small, and when all the beds are occupied the room feels really cramped. Well, it’s only meant for sleeping.

The common area has a truly relaxed vibe. You’re right in the middle of Neustadt. The beds have curtains and the toilets are outside, not in the room.

The check‑in was friendly and straightforward. Everything was simple and wonderful. I wasn’t entirely happy with breakfast, but that might just be my own preference.

The spot is spot on in Neustadt, right in the middle. The staff were great, super helpful. The bathrooms were spotless, and the Teeküche was stocked for tea or coffee. However, it was odd that male guests used the flinta/women’s bathrooms; it would have helped the female guests if they stayed in their own space. No bad vibes, but some women might feel uneasy with men showering in the same area, which is probably why there’s a separate one.

The staff were very friendly and worked hard to host free events, and they have excellent taste in music. The free dinner was a highlight for socialising, drawing a lively crowd that respected those who just wanted to sit alone. The women’s dorm room was spacious, clean, and the location was great—easy access to several tram lines and the S-Bahn for trips to Meissen and Saxon Switzerland. I felt safe as a solo female traveller, and the neighbourhood was quieter than expected, with windows shut at night blocking most noise. The kitchen was tiny, only enough for 2–3 people to cook simultaneously. There were only two showers on our floor, one of which was a bath converted into a shower with metal paneling and no place to hang clothes, so I showered in the afternoon to avoid peak times.
