The place was quiet and lovely, with cute cottages that were close together. The cottages were a bit drafty and the cleaning could be improved. Each room had a fridge and a coffee corner, and there was a small pool. Because there weren’t many other guests, we had the pool almost to ourselves, so the size wasn’t a problem. Wi‑Fi didn’t always work well. The cook was super friendly, spontaneous, and spoke English, which made for great conversation. Other staff were shy and reserved. The shared dining area was nice, breakfast was delicious and well‑prepared. The roof terrace was pretty, though it got warm during the day. Across the street was one restaurant/café with tasty food but a limited menu; the staff were very nice. The rural setting was pleasant for quiet walks. On the positive side, you couldn’t buy food or drinks there, which could be an advantage if you want to shop yourself, but for a short stay it would be nice to have drinks and maybe snacks for the evening so you could stay “at home.” Tablecloths need updating. There’s no real dining spot nearby, and you always have to leave by car.
